Lumen is mainly for smaller applications, and its community is also very small as compare to Laravel. Because the Lumen community is small, so if you stuck on something then it would be difficult to get a solution for that problem.
So, I recommend you Laravel. If you create a well-optimized Laravel app then it can handle a very large number of requests.
